Right now the categories are only used for you to create your own reports. Hence, using these ranks communicates better if a case has prior art that are very similar (when very relevant documents marked red are identified) or if a case seems to be a hidden diamond (when only prior art documents with rank “green” are identified. This helps to steer resources, time and efforts to the right project in the innovation process and avoid investment in "reinventing the wheel".
In the coming platform upgrade the rankings done will also optimize further matching via intelligent steering towards contents of interesting documents (red, orange or green) and avoid content of irrelevant documents (noise).
